Why is it so dreaded? Because not only does half the engine need to be disassembled to replace a lousy rubber belt, but after all that labor to take apart the engine it would be ludicrous not to also replace the OTHER THINGS that have now become exposed…. The pulleys, the tensioners, the water pump, the serpentine belt, and several other items too. This of course is so labor intensive that your car can easily be laid up for days& days.
But thanks to Dan, Ron & Brian I was in good hands as they gave my 10 year old engine a new lease on life for another 10 years!!
