You can rely on Dino at Greg’s Automotive Service (GAS) to carefully diagnose your automotive problem
BEFORE proposing a solution. For example, the driver’s side window of my car stuttered several times before finally closing. This was especially irritating when I needed to lock and park the car but had to wait for the window to stutter several times before closing.
When I took my car to the dealership for a repair estimate, I was told that the electric motor and all mechanical components associated with had to be replaced. The cost of doing so would be about $600.
When I took the car to GAS, Dino diagnosed the problem and concluded that lubricating the mechanical components would likely solve the problem. The cost of doing that was about $550 less than the dealership's solution. The window's worked perfectly for years now.
GAS’ ability to diagnose a problem closely before offering solutions happened again when I took my car in for a loud whirring sound it made at highway speeds. The dealership proposed replacing both bearings. Dino proposed replacing only the noisy one.
Finally, when I began hearing a rattling sound under the hood, GAS isolated the problem to one of the gears driven by the serpentine belt. Rather than replace the all the gears and the belt, GAS took the time to isolate and then replace the one offending gear.
When my cars aren’t under factory warranty, I will always take them to GAS. To do otherwise would be foolish. I suggest you take your cars to Greg’s Automotive Service, too.

This vehicle is our son's car. He had mentioned the symptoms of a "shaky" steering wheel at lower sp
eeds along with it "pulling". Initially he took the vehicle to the corner Shell station in Springfield, VA as he believes all service stations are the same and the trip to Integrity Tire and Auto in Falls Church is too far and not worth it. I commend Shell for not charging him anything and the recommendation they made (partially correct). What I like about Integrity is speaking directly with mechanics who actually work on your vehicle, test drive them and clearly state their initial assessments. Relaying the symptoms independently to both Rob and Chris, they believed the vehicle had a separated tire. Come to find all the tires on the vehicle were the original 2008 (18 years old) tires and the front left tire tread had separated with a bulge. Four new tires and my son stated the "car drives like new".
