I ended up here on a recommendation from my mechanic at Hoover Wheel and Alignment a place I trust .
My Ford Transit now at 400k . My mechanic said hey your transmission is going . So go to an expert and ask . I drove straight there . After looking at it Hage agreed . Quoted the price but didn't "force " me to make a decision. In fact due to the milage it was a strong no. That's the important part the honesty . That's what will bring me back should I decide or need transmission work on a different vehicle in the future . I even asked about a transmission flush and it was a firm no again the honesty . They also had a loaner available ( which I would like to buy if the price is right) for now the transit is home . When it comes to used vehicles there is no wrong answer when spending a larger amount of transmission replacement it's better to think about and see the other vehicle options available. Yes I would recommend this shop and will to any that ask
