Follow up to fuel related defect after Phoenix trip
I had a routine service and inspection performed by Clifton in early August 2026. My car is a high m
ileage example, and I trust it completely. I drove to Phoenix for a business trip, and returned a few days later. The heat was between 105 and 120 degrees. The car performed flawlessly, and I returned without incident. However, when I put the car away in my Carlsbad (cooler) garage, I smelled a slight odor of gasoline. I moved it outside, covered it and returned to Clifton for a diagnosis and repair. The diagnosis and repair was completed within a day, and I was back on the road. Thank you to the Team at Clifton.
