While vacationing in AMI, my Ford Bronco developed a strong malodor and smoke appeared under the hood
. As I was checking out of the VRBO the very next morning, I was preparing to make alternative travel plans back to Michigan if my car was not functional. Johnny was SO understanding and prompt in his attention to my dilemma! He attended to the vehicle early that afternoon! While the source of the odor was not identified, he thoroughly inspected it, drove it around the island and gave me the green light to drive home the next day. I am still SO appreciative to his attentiveness that day as he truly understood my predicament! Forever grateful!

I brought my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek to Roopair Specialties for a second opinion after the dealership r
ecommended a full CVT transmission replacement at over $10,000. Roopair took the time to listen to the history of the problem, review the symptoms, and approach the issue thoughtfully instead of jumping straight to the most expensive repair.
They recommended a CVT fluid exchange and relearn as a lower-cost, non-invasive step. The old fluid was clearly very dirty, and after the service the vehicle immediately felt better from a stop, with noticeably improved launch feel and torque. I really appreciated that they looked for a reasonable diagnostic path before assuming the entire transmission needed to be replaced.
The staff were knowledgeable, direct, and easy to work with. I left feeling much more informed and much more confident in the next steps. I would highly recommend Roopair to Subaru owners, especially for complex issues where you want a true Subaru specialist to take a careful look.
