The 2025 Tucson is a sweet ride!

I've put on over 2K miles so far with two road trips up north and out east. Smooth ride, fairly quiet highway noise. Love the fact that I can lock or remote start my vehicle using my cell phone. I loved the colors (Atlantis Blue exterior and light gray upholstery with black carpeting interior). Comfortable front seats and roomy back seats, and plenty of open space in the back for groceries/suitcases/whatever. I still have to get comfortable with all the electronic features but am happy overall with the media applications. I'm enjoying this car a lot and look forward to seeing how the all-wheel drive works in the snow this winter.

Outstanding vehicle

I love my Tucson. I drove a Honda for several years before I got my Tucson. There is no comparison. I now have heated seats, rear door that I can open before I get to the car with my bags, the windshield wipers can be set to intermittent. That’s just some of the benefits that I didn’t have before. Oh, I can unlock my door without having to get my keys out. Plus the price was better.

not happy with the purchase

Car has a problem with self accelerating when breaking. In the shop twice, cannot diagnose the problem. Cannot fix the problem. Safety concerns.

Driver Assist Cruise is Terrible.

I leased a 2021 Tucson and absolutely loved it. I would frequently think about how much I loved it when I would sit down to start driving. I do a ton of highway driving w/ a 40 mile commute to work. I was obsessed with the driver assist cruise, which just made my commute easy and seamless. My lease was up so needed to make a decision of what to do next. I ended up leasing a 2025 Tucson, and I can't express how disappointed I am. I am paying almost $75 more / month, so would assume that I am getting some really nice updates. Unfortunately, the driver assist is super sensitive and TERRIBLE. The alert to be looking straight ahead goes off constantly. I literally can barely glance at the rearview mirror or radio without the alert going off or the cruise just turning off. I can't wear sunglasses, or the system turns off. It's beyond frustrating, and honestly, unsafe that it turns off so quickly and/or that the alerts are creating a distraction by going off all the time. After one day of driving the vehicle, I emailed the dealership to express this, and I didn't get anything helpful back, except to contact corporate because they couldn't help. It's so disappointing to go from loving a car and singing its praises to now dreading having to pay for this vehicle and not being able to fully utilize the cruise control for the next 3 years. The keyless entry is also very finnicky, sometimes will just beep and beep vs. unlocking or locking like it's supposed to. Also frustrating because this feature is about convenience, not me having to dig my keys out. Keyless entry is additionally a safety feature if i need to get into my car quickly. Since it's inconsisent, I cannot rely on that.

Style, Look, Performance and Dependability is what I wanted

Having had success with other Hyundai products over the years, it was time to retire my F-150. I replaced it with the Tucson and I'm glad I did; the ride, vehicle response as well as features where what I wanted and got with this choice.
