Smooth Ride, Stylish Vehicle

I have zero regrets on this purchase. Smooth ride. Stylish. Perfect color. All the features I wanted were included. The last new vehicle I purchased (different company) 7 yrs ago caused me instant regret after driving it home. However with my Tucson I still love everything about it 2 months later.

Enjoying my 2025 Tuscon

The vehicle has been a pleasure to drive. The change from my old 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport to this one was quite significant in terms of technology, and I am still getting used to it.

Comfortable, Lots of Features. A couple of Issues

Over all I like the vehicle. Two issues I do have. The displays are hard to see in sunlight, it doesn't matter how the backlight is adjusted. The speedometer and tachometer are bright enough to drive with. It is impossible to see what climate controls are on or off. The second issue is the advertised gas millage and reality are two entirely different things. I would say the real world gas mileage is about 15 to 20 % lower then advertised.

Disappointed

Sadly I would not recommend this car. I don’t like the way it drives, I do t like some of the features. I will probably be trading it in as soon as I pay it down.

2025 Tucson Ltd Gas

Technology needs taming; far too many options are buried in layers. Touch-panel controls for A/C, seat heat/cool, and more are placed directly below other buttons in the center dash. Touching one might turn another feature on or off...frustrating nuisance! Fingerprint and password feature is annoying, as the fingerprint doesn't always work. We find some settings change by themselves! Not a good choice for us older drivers nearing 80!

Love the vehicle, really dislike some of the "features"

The Tuscon is my favorite vehicle that I've owned. However there are a few "features" I really dislike. The first one is the "Consider taking a break" warning. I routinely drive on very bumpy uneven roads so that extremely annoying warning is constantly going off. I've asked my dealer if it can be turned off and was told they would research it. Still haven't heard back from them. Second, it would be really nice if I could customize the 12" touch screen instead of having all that unnecessary stuff on it that I don't ever use. Third, did you really need to make the floor mats so hard to remove? I had to use a screw driver to get it up so I could clean it.

Best car I've ever had!

My car had 200 miles on it when I drove it from FL to MO. Didn't have all the electronics on it figured out quite then, but figured out a LOT of it on the way! Thanks to my friends at Hampton Hyundai in Fort Walton Beach for the tutorials they gave me before I left the lot. My trip was VERY comfortable and enjoyable. My 94 year old mom was easily able to get in and out of the car without difficulty, & MORE than plenty of room in the back for her walker. Also, my 6"3" &boyfriend could get in without much difficulty. This was HUGE! He was comfortable & would NEVER ride with me before in any other vehicle. And she's got the "git up & go"! Step on it & you're GONE! "Miss Ruby Rose" is my new love & best friend!

Accelerates like a snail, too clever for its own good

My previous car was a MY 2023 Sonata Limited; I had to learn a completely new user interface. The Sonata was peppy; the Tucson feels like a snail. And it might not even be the engine but the way it is geared. Sport mode? Forget about it. In a lot of ways the user interface is overengineered, or not yet ready for consumption. I had a hard time finding sunglasses that do not trigger the safety systems to drop out. It was either my working expensive polarized glasses that have a problem with HUD but work with the IR sensor reading the driver's eyes or finding glasses that work with the HUD and dropping less often the safety system. I gave up after a while; the IR sensors still cannot read properly under certain sun positions like in the morning or evening. And then the hell starts with error messages and sounds that only stop after removing the glasses. Hyundai should have provided sunglasses that work with the car.
