What the Hell

Rating has nothing to do with the staff. After purchasing four vehicles from Hyundai, I doubt if I will ever look to purchase another vehicle from them. As far as service on vehicle, I will look elsewhere for regular service. Why? $179 for an oil change. Just an oil change. Nothing more. The service manager said this was the norm. No it is not. I did lot of checking, and even for a synthetic oil change that $179 is well off base. That is a crazy number to charge anyone, but a longtime, multiple car purchaser who has had many oil changes at Hyundai, it is embarrassing. Greed has taken over Everett Hyundai.

Pretty nice car

The back up beeping is loud and annoying and unnecessary. You ought to be able to set a default screen that always comes on when you start car ( like radio). Prefer a stick shift rather than the buttons for changing gears. Hard to get the large mph reading on if it gets turned off. Should be the default reading on dash.

Every things are looking good except there has 3 problems: 1 some engine oil was leaking from the oil pan sealed! 2 a Rusty spot appeared on the of the trunk! 3 a white plastic cover for the icon of the dashboard hanging out!

Would have liked to see mpg a little better falls off 5mpg during cold winter months. Also have a problem with the back up alarm/sound have never heard any other vehicle with this loud of a beeping other than commercial dump trucks. With this alone I pro ably wouldn't buy again.

Nice Vehicle

Nice, quiet ride. Solid handling. Nice interior with good space. Highway driving assist and lane assist great for highway driving. Gasoline engine a little noisy. Occasional hesitation when starting from almost complete stop, switching from electric to gas.

Tucson hybrid review

Except for wind noise at 50+ mph (noisy cabin), the Tucson hybrid has been an excellent car.

Very Good, a Few Flaws

Overall, I really like my Tucson, but there have been a few issues, a couple that the dealership hasn't seemed very interested in solving. A) excessive wind (?) noise on the driver's side windshield/door area. B) Mileage isn't as good as advertised (it's a hybrid). C) Entertainment Center Console randomly shut itself off while going down the interstate. D) Apple CarPlay randomly decides not to connect. E) Tie-down rings aren't very strong, and I've had one break already.

Rattling Monster

Just when you think that you are buying a reliable car from a reputable car company they let you down in more ways than one. This review will result in the same review I have done for the dealership, I receive a call after being there twice asking me to come back again to make it right. Amazingly, a solution to the rattling was found through simple search, the noise is coming from the under panel under the drivers side. Curious why a large car company could not figure that out through development and production.

Happy BUT…. Dead car after two weeks w/o driving

I was completely satisfied with my Tucson UNTIL I went away for two weeks (just two weeks) for the birth of my 2 nd grandchild. Very disappointed upon my return to find a totally dead car after just two weeks. Come on!!! Total BS. Was able to get into car through hidden key hole and eventually able to charge battery. This is crap. Big negative.

Great Car, Not So Great Mileage

Tons of great features, very quiet and smooth on the road, handles great, but fails to achieve advertised gas mileage. Stickered at 39 city and 36 highway, the car can achieve highway mileage of 36 ONLY IF YOU DRIVE LESS THAN 55 MPH! At 75 MPH, unloaded with two occupants, the MPG will be less than 30. Motor Trend tests resulted in around 26 MPG, which is embarrassing for a 1.6L engine. My other vehicle is a 2014 Cadillac XTS VSport with a 410HP V6 and it has averaged 25.5 MPG for the last 30,000 miles! The Tuscon meets the advertised city mileage, but ours is seldom driven in the city.

Great Car

I love everything about this car except the beeping speaker when in reverse. It's a great ride, very comfortable and great on gas! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the reverse warning is SO loud and my neighbors don't love it if I have to leave the house early.
