Poor execution- worst purchase I ever did

Everything is wrong with this vehicle. The gas mileage is lawful. The controls over what you can and cannot do with vehicle alert. System is horrible. Everything resets when you turn it off. I cannot state how much this is the worst vehicle purchase.

Well built, good furniture, battery dies if car parked a long while

Why do I have to open the back hatch in order get power to the car so I can turn it on??? Other than that everything is built for daily commute comfortably so thumbs up for that!

Santa Fe Review

The Santa Fe Calligraphy has it all! So much tech to get adjusted to.. all useful though. I was driving and BMW GT 330. This has just as nice of a feel. Drive modes are nice. All wheel drive is a must. Space is great.. 3rd row is surprisingly spacious... rarely would ever need it, but nice just in case... Rear seats and climate control is great. Enough Power out of the 4 cylinder turbo... sport mode is nice. Overall, highly , highly recommend taking a look.

Great Look and Nice Features

Great features and fun to drive, however mine has already been in for warranty-covered service twice for squeaking steering wheel and they still haven't been able ot fix it.

My Spaceship

I've been driving my Santa Fe now about a month. It's like what I imagine a space ship might be like. Exploring all the bells and whistles has been interesting. However it is a great looking vehicle and it rides really nice. It has ample room in it for hauling cargo. I'm going to use it to camp out of and for weekend and vacation trips. I notice that heads turn when I'm driving so it's pretty cool

Disappointment

product material is low grade for price, all plastic and cheap textiles. Seat belts lock or do not lock. Parking brake does not work; car still moves may damage my transmission. Windshield cracked and dealer swears a bird may have cracked. Dealers' technicians are not helping, like they get kickbacks for not doing work on car. weather under warranty or insurance. A full gas tank is incentive for a good review eeeesh!

Great vehicle

Drives smooth, plenty of room, comfortable on longish trips. Wish they all came with standard WiFi. A disappointment finding that out.

I like the Hyundai a lot. It is comfortable and has lots of room in the first two rows. The third row and the trunk are kind of small, so you can have smaller children sit in the very last row.

Retired HVAC tech

I love the overall vehicle but I have a few gripes . First I do not like the auto engine cut off and that you have to shut it off every time you drive. Reverse the switch so you have to press the button to turn it ON not OFF. Also my main gripe is the steering wheel camera will NOT let cruise control come on if you wear Sunglasses. This is something I really HATE !!!!

Good looking, a lot of options, not the best ride.

The Santa Fe seemed to ride fine on the test drive. When I drove it home (25 miles), I notice a vibration in the front end shaking the steering wheel. After finally getting a service appointment (afternoon appointment), I was told I would need to bring it back in early because of the special balance needed on the tires. I had to wait two weeks for that appointment. I was told it would take 3 to 4 hours. I asked about a loaner but none was available on the day of the appointment. After they contacted the Sales Department, a used car was made available. I dropped the car off at the appointed time of 10:00 AM. I did some shopping in the area and waited for a call. When I had not been called at 3:00 PM, I called to check. The service department informed me that they had not started on my car. They would keep it overnight and start on it first thing Friday morning. I called back on Friday afternoon and was told the work had not started again but would be accomplished on Saturday. On Saturday, around noon, I was called and told my car would be ready by 1:00 PM. When I went to pick it up, the Sales Department was interested in the loaner but no one seemed interested in where my car was. I called the Service Department (while I was inside the Service Department) and finally found someone that would locate my vehicle. After keeping it for three days when I picked it up, it was very dusty on the exterior. When I asked about getting it washed, I was told it would be half an hour before they could get to it. I declined and left the dealership. On the drive home I noticed that the tire balancing had removed most of the vibration but not all of it. It still does not drive like a new car.
