It is a new car.... but it is not what I would pick again!

My 2017 Elantra (300,000 miles) had no bells and whistles- Which I think I really prefer! My 2025 (now just under 8,000 miles) has some, but not all-and some very annoying ones. I am not happy with the new cars seat (not as comfy as my older), the annoying passive aggressive beeping alarm constantly rudely requesting that I "Consider taking a break" and muting my radio broadcast- all because I can't drive exactly in the middle of the curvy lane due to bumpy rough spots in the asphalt- (good luck turning it off!) The constant skipping/volume change of my FM broadcast because the radio can't make up it's mind to be in either HD or standard FM mode. And, so far, last, but not least, the vent control will not allow me to not have the defrost on and the internal re-circulate function enabled at the same time! I hate being behind a exhaust laden diesel truck or semi and suddenly not be able to breath! The last thing is that my salesman said Bluelink came with it, but as it turned out- nope! So, now I am stuck with the mediocre Android auto. If anyone is reading this that actually cares, Would you please make an update to make the car switch off the driving alarm, and be able to disable the HD radio? If the answer is a solid no, then my next car will be a Toyota!

The FCA is not working as advertised and I took it into the dealership to review, they stated that it is just how it works. It is disappointing I bought a new car that should have FCA features as advertised but they are not working.

Lots of things that add up that makes the build quality poor.

I love the car and all but the build quality and such is not very appealing. The front bumper is sagging about half an inch and came like that from factory since I got my car brand new. And the worst part was I couldn’t even try to get it fixed at the Hyundai dealership since they said there’s nothing broken to be fixed on the bumper, but I’ve seen other Elantras that don’t have the issue mine has. As well as I notice rattling noise when I’m accelerating and the noises come from like the left side driver side. lastly there’s a belt squeaking sound when I turn on the car at times, and after I drive then it goes away. One more thing to note when I engage revere I hear this like clanking sound or when I go on drive to accelerate I hear it but less, it just sounds like the something might give out down the line.
